It's called a magazine, but it's more like a book! - as the author loves to say.
And he's right, with the first edition being 160 and the last being a whopping 360 pages, each of them has more content than some other pinball books.
At the moment there are 5 magazines available. Each of them has one main topic, it's usually about someone involved in the pinball industry.
The author has spent hundreds of hours interviewing the individual and everyone around him, and bundles these.
The books provide valuable insights, a lot of background information and funny anectdotes.
Apart from the main subject, smaller topics are added like information new games and much more. This keeps the content different enough, hundreds of pages of text about one subject would unfortunately become boring, even if it's about pinball :)
Being published between 2012 and 2018, some content of the first five editions is already dated. Examples are some of the (many) ads and reviews or announcement of new games. However don't let this stop you, the main content where it's about, the interviews stay relevant.
These books provide more background information, information about prototypes, sketches, than you'll find online or in other resources. They're definitely something that should be in every pinball enthousiast library. Their price is very reasonable, especially considering all the content and effort that has been put into them.
