There were also a lot of other types of games and some innovative designs.
Namco also had Akuma, a light-gun game.
They also had Lethal Enforcers 3,
but unfortunately I don't have a good picture of that one !
It's an impressive, large, futuristic cabinet. Looks cool !
Namco also had the 'Aim for cash' game, a sort of
redemtion/payout light gun game. Not to bad to play, good if you
like to shoot accurate at targets and stuff like that.
Go Fishin, one of the weirder arcade games at the show.
Motion Theater. 2 large seats on which you lay down and view directly
at a large screen above you. You can select between several rides (rollercoaster stuff)
and the seats vibate in sync with the screen. The movie we choose was a bit weird,
short rollercoaster tracks connected views in which you fly over landscapes
and mountains. Maybe other movies are better ? A whole movie on a rollercoasters was probably more impressive. I did start to feel a bit motion sick, so even though
the seats don't move that much, it's effective :)
Star Kick, an automatic foosball table for one player. Nice to see,
but I don't know how successful it will be, as foosball is a game you just don't play
on your own ?
Of course large cranes, and all kinds of animals to win had to be at this show too.
There were also kiddie rides in all models and sizes..
And the Ultracade was also there.. I like this model better than
the upright version. It's just more cuter, and with the 2 monitors, 2 people can play at the same time.
